Ancestral Memory was born from the need to look back at the traces left by those who inhabited this land before us. Rather than seeking to literally reconstruct the past, the series establishes a dialogue with cultures whose presence continues to endure through their symbols, materials, and ways of understanding the world. Each work begins with historical and visual research into cultural heritage, traditions, and ancestral knowledge, which are then transformed into a contemporary visual language. Through natural fibers, metals, and organic materials, I reinterpret faces, ornaments, and symbolic elements that speak of identity, belonging, and memory. This series understands memory as something living: a bridge between past and present that continues to shape the way we inhabit our territory.
